Alojamento Rio Neiva was born from a desire to share a piece of authentic Minho - the quiet of the countryside, the sound of the river, Portuguese hospitality. We've opened our family home in Tregosa, Barcelos to welcome those seeking real rest, great food and an unhurried Northern Portugal.

Sitting on the border between Viana do Castelo and Braga, the house offers the best of both worlds: Cabedelo beach 20 minutes away, Braga Cathedral under 30, and Gerês National Park a morning drive away. All without sacrificing the peace of waking up to birdsong.

Yes, we have a private outdoor pool and garden. The pool is available in the summer season (May to September, weather-dependent). In winter, the house has heating in every room and is just as comfortable.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, we're pet-friendly! We just ask that you let us know when booking so we can prepare the house. The garden is secure and your pet will be well received.

Where exactly is the house?

In Tregosa, Barcelos municipality, Braga district. We are strategically located between Viana do Castelo (20 min) and Braga (30 min), with quick access to Esposende beaches (15 min) and Gerês National Park (1h).
