Welcome the New Year in a house that is entirely yours, with no fees
Some people love the crowds and fireworks of a town square. But if you are after a more intimate New Year, where the group is just yours and the night runs at your own pace, Alojamento Rio Neiva was made for exactly that. The heart of a good New Year is the table. The kitchen is fully equipped — hob, oven, large fridge and even a capsule coffee machine for the morning after — so you can cook the New Year's Eve dinner all together, with no rush and without depending on fully booked restaurants.
After dinner, the large open-plan lounge is where the night really happens: room for everyone to sit, talk and toast at midnight, with the fireplace warming the room on cold late-December nights. The turn of the year is also for exploring. We are about 15 minutes from central Barcelos, 25 minutes from Viana do Castelo and the Santa Luzia viewpoint, and 30 minutes from Braga and Bom Jesus — cities that light up and come alive at this time. The Minho beaches (Esposende and Ofir) are around 20 minutes away for a bracing New Year seaside walk, and Ponte de Lima is 30 minutes for a vinho verde escape. Porto Airport is 45 minutes away, handy for groups arriving from abroad.
